Connect
Plug your sound board or mic into an audio interface or link it right to your captioning computer. Select the audio interface or microphone under Audio Input.

Go Live
Start the captions and connect using a QR code. You can output captions to your displays, livestream, or mobile devices simultaneously with minimal latency.

Microphone, Mixer, or Sound Board paired with a compatible Audio Interface and necessary cabling (XLR, 1/4 Aux or TRS. Depending on your existing audio set up and audio interface requirements.)
Required Hardware
Church Cap’s minimum specifications are intended for small to medium deployments. Meeting them does not guarantee caption accuracy, translation quality, latency, or stability, as performance depends on the hardware, selected models, languages, audio quality, network, and system configuration. Always test the complete setup before using Church Cap during a live service.
